As part of their urban renewal project, The East Brunswick Village has been commissioning works from local artists to be displayed around the village to ensure that art is part of everyday life. We were invited to do a live installation at an opening event. Taking inspiration from EBV’s plans to add rooftop gardens and beekeeping, Max created a small hand-cut arrangement based on nature, flowers, and bees. This was then digitized, scaled up, and reprinted for live installation. The mural was then used as an educational tool for visiting school kids to talk about the importance of maintaining green spaces to support our bees!
