We’re that paper joint. Melbourne’s first collage studio, workshop & gallery. ✂️

Set within a former medical clinic, we welcome you into our purpose-built studio, dedicated to all things paper and scissors. ✨

Within the heart of Brunswick, along legendary Sydney Road, that paper joint is a unique space, with a goal to reuse, reinvent & reimagine.

With collage at our foundation, we aim ‘to join people through paper’. Whether hosting a cut-&-paste session, private party, art exhibition or working on a design commission, that paper joint is about sustainable creativity & community.

Meet the team: Maximillian Malone, Zoe Crook & Franky Rocket 🐕.

As a child, I was happiest when playing. With that paper joint as a hybrid home-studio, every day is filled with creativity, play, & mess-making. I feel like a kid again! I’m very grateful to have had a wide variety of lived experiences, that in culmination, have led to this opportunity to follow my passion & to share it with others.
— Maximillian Malone
What excites me about that paper joint is the opportunity to build a community, to help people rediscover their confidence, passion & creative self-belief.
— Zoe Crook
