What you’ll do

We’re so chuffed to be part of The Makers & Shakers Market that we’re bringing something extra special with us; a big batch of our first-ever collage book, Cut-out Curiosities: Botanica. This’ll be a rare chance to hang out and craft with us inside the stunning Royal Exhibition Building — a UNESCO World Heritage site — all weekend long.

Right in the heart of Melbourne’s drool-worthy market, jam-packed with handmade goodies & tasty treats, you’ll find us: scissors in hand, paper everywhere, ready to get crafty with you.

Like always, we’ll provide all the tools & materials you need to whip up your own collage masterpiece. Just pull up a chair, grab a coffee or cupcake from the stalls, and start snipping. We’ll be floating around, sharing tips, talking all things collage, (and signing copies of our book if you’re into that sort of thing).

Vibe Check: This is a casual, easy-going workshop format, designed for you to drop-in and out, whenever you're ready. We'll provide ideas & collage suggestions if you need, otherwise, lean back, and enjoy a self-guided process, with all tools and materials provided. Feel free to book now in advance, or simply rock-up and buy a workshop ticket when you get there.

  • A coffee or sweet treat from the market to keep you fueled (highly recommended)

  • The Royal Exhibition Building is located in Carlton Gardens, Melbourne, Victoria.

    Tram route 86 or tram route 96!

  • All three levels of the Royal Exhibition Building (basement, mezzanine and lower promenade) are wheelchair accessible via a lift.
