Join us for a cozy evening of art-making & movie watching. Bring your own crafts, or get inspired by our supplies, as you relax into our intimate studio. Whether sketching, writing or collaging, the movie will set the mood for a laid-back night of creativity.

Bring your favorite snacks & drinks, and enjoy TPJ’s impeccable vibes. Crafters, Movie-lovers, and those like us, that can’t choose just one activity, this is for you!

For those new to That Paper Joint, our studio is one of the most unique, creative spaces in Melbourne; designed to feel like a cozy home away from home, with ambient lighting, a rainbow of colours & eclectic decor throughout.

Park your drinks in the mini-fridge, open up your sketchbook, pull up a chair, and make the space your own. During the screening we’ll be advocating for ‘parallel play’, but before & after each screening, you’ll have plenty of time to relax & connect with your fellow creatives.

Our movie nights will showcase a range of cult classics, to lesser-known artist documentaries. We’re so excited to see how this fusion concept goes, and we hope it provides that special place & time for wholesome combo of art-making & movie-watching.
